  2. Academic Search Premier

    The Academic Search Premier is the world's largest scholarly, multidiscipline full text database designed specifically for academic institutions. The database contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,318 journals (7,251 peer-reviewed), with full text for more than 4,542 journals (3,786 peer-reviewed, full text journals) of those titles. PDF back files to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals.

    One of the qualities of the database is that it provides searchable cited references for more than 1,000 journals. Academic Search Premier contains unmatched full text coverage in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion and theology, etc.

The bibliographic citations are available for dissertations dating from 1861, and more than 70,000 new graduate works are added to the database every year by over 700 active university publishing partners.
